My Background
My academic background is in Forestry and Wood Technology, and that foundation shaped the way I think about data, systems, and real-world problem solving. Over time, I became increasingly interested in how data can be used not just to describe problems, but to uncover trends, measure performance, and support smarter decisions. Professionally, I have worked in project and program data analysis, where I developed experience working with structured datasets, reporting workflows, and analytical outputs that support planning and decision-making. That experience strengthened my interest in data analytics and pushed me to build more technical skills in data cleaning, analysis, dashboard development, and insight communication.
My Transition into Data Analytics
My interest in data analytics is shaped by both professional experience and deliberate self-development, but more importantly by the role data can play in areas such as environmental governance, policy making, and sustainable development. I am drawn to using data to uncover patterns, answer meaningful questions, and support evidence-based decisions that can drive real impact.
I started by building my foundation in Excel and Power BI through formal training, then expanded my skills in SQL and Tableau through hands-on practice and project work.
